We don't provide a phone number, but you can email us any time at support@cranfordtech.com or send a message through our support page. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Plugin and template purchases

Our plugins and templates are sold through the Bubble marketplace. Bubble handles those purchases, and we do not collect personal information when you buy one.

DocuPotion

DocuPotion is a product by Cranford Tech. If you use DocuPotion, the DocuPotion privacy policy explains what data it collects and how it is processed.

Support and project enquiry forms

When you use the support form or the work with us form on this website, we collect:
- Your email address
- The details you type into the form (for example the plugin you need help with, or your name, company, budget and project description)
- Any screenshots or recordings you choose to upload
- Your IP address and approximate country, recorded with the submission to help us prevent abuse

We use this information only to reply to you, provide support, or discuss and quote for your project. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us. We do not use it for marketing, and submitting a form does not add you to any mailing list.

To protect the forms from spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to tell people and bots apart.

Each submission is saved in a log hosted by Cloudflare and sent by email to our support inbox, which is managed in Help Scout. Files you upload are stored by Uploadcare, and we receive a link to them.

Email newsletters

If you sign up for the Bubble Builder newsletter or the BubbleHacks newsletter, your email address is stored by Substack, which provides these newsletters. We use it to send you the newsletter you signed up for, on the basis of your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.

Analytics

We use Plausible to measure how our website is used. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data that identifies you. It records aggregate information such as the pages visited, the referring website, the browser and operating system used, and the visitor's country. We use this to understand where our visitors come from and to improve the website. We use Plausible in the same way on buildwithcharles.io, the website for our Charles product, which has no accounts or forms.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

Who processes data on our behalf

We use these service providers to run this website and respond to you:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, spam protection, the form submission log and sending form submissions to our inbox
- Help Scout: our support inbox
- Google Workspace: our email
- Uploadcare: files uploaded through the support form
- Plausible: website analytics
- Substack: our email newsletters

Some of these providers store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep your data

Form submissions are kept in our submission log for 12 months, after which they are deleted automatically.

Support conversations, including links to any files you uploaded, are kept for up to 2 years.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. We may need to keep some data where we are legally required to. To make a request, email support@cranfordtech.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as the Bubble marketplace. We don't control those websites and are not responsible for how they handle your information, so please read their privacy policies.

We will update this page if the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
